How is it possible for a mouse to stay alive if it is regrowing a heart?

If you read the article, you'd know that they only regrew part of their heart. The scientists froze part of it using our new word of the day: a cryoprobe!
Bah i read about this crap freshman year when they were growing human ears on rats. Old news

Umm... no not old news. Growing ears on rats is old news. Rats regrowing their own limbs or their own organs is new news.

I regrew my hand once after having burned off in a fight with a dragon. He was drunk.

The ears were more of a cartiledge growth triggered by various materials planted under the skin of the mice. This is a genetic mutation.
One of these things, if we can adapt it to humans, can make not just prostetics, but organ transplants a thing of the past.

"Pumpkin, that's modern medicine. Advances that keep people alive that should have died along time ago, back when they lost what made them people. "

"Pumpkin, that's modern medicine. Advances that keep people alive that should have died along time ago, back when they lost what made them people. "
Most excellent quote.
Here's another genetic-mapipulation link: first semi-cloned baby attempt. (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/health/womenfamily.html?in_article_id=361816&in_page_id=1799) UK courts gave permission to try it. Its not a prue clone, but they use the same technique. Its an opening of the floodgates.
So going to change my major to biology.

Those zany pro-lifers. They're like Washington Generals fans. Dude, your team can't win. Sooner or later Death (or one of the Globe Trotters) is gonna throw an alley-oop with one guy climbing up a ladder. There's no defense for that.
