Computer Games

I'd have to say that there are some pretty awesome computer games out there now... but what do you guys feel is the best? What are you really looking forward to and why?

I still think one of my favorit games right now would have to be Battlefield 1942. I'm a giant fan of FPS team based games. EVE however is starting to get high up on my list as well. EVE is Everquest in space! The true test of my favorit computer game will be when Star Wars Galaxies is relesed. I can wait!

Battlefield is a classic. Maybe I'll actually finish the three or four custom maps I've started someday.

*sigh* I am still waiting for a new Star Trek game that just puts SFC III to shame. That game is pretty damn awesome.

Actually, I'm a diehard Counter-strike player, Battlefield is superior, but my computer, Gilgamesh, has some problems with that game. Once I have a new computer, that'll be the first game on it.

What PC games am I looking forward to? Halo is coming out on the PC this summer, and sounds like the improvements are WELL worth a purchase on that alone. Deus Ex 2 might be coming out this summer as well.

Then September 30th, we get what a lot of people have been waiting a long ass time for...Half-Life 2.

Definitely drooling for half life 2. And I can't wait to see the games that are going to come out of the Doom 3 engine. Should be some good stuff. I'm so hooked on Eve right now it's not even funny. As for Counter Strike haven't played it much in a long time. Tactical Ops is a good replacement for it. Up to date graphics and sweet new maps.

Well the reason it's stayed on so long for me is that it runs on almost nothing....you know?

The Northern Laptops from "my" year are junk, so CS is the MOST we can get running. NEXT semester though, we'll all be upgrading to Battlefield 1942...god that's a good game.

Nothing like fighting off the Japanese landing on the beach with a tank! :evil:
