What is the best gaming system?

Hey guys... what do you think is the best gaming system out there?

I'd almost agree with you about the PC being the best, but when's the last time you had to repartition your Playstation?

Or try and de-install LINUX... I'd agree with you there Steve... X-Box is mighty cool tho... BUT Game Cube does have Resident Evil... I am glad to just go with the PC and be done with the argument.

Nah i still think the PC is always going to be better. You can do so much more with a PC game. Like BF 1942. You can make your own mods an stuff. Also LAN get togethers are always fun too. I hate looking at a TV with thats divided into 4 box's so you can play a multiplayer game. Of curse PC's require more maintance then a PS2 or XBOX, but PC graphics and games will always be better. After all PS2 an XBOX games all start being crated on a PC.

What about the classic Nintendo??? I loooove the old school Nintendos with the classic super mario games. I also really like the N64. Play station is pretty sweet, too. I love the graphics and the Final Fantasy games, even though I don't get to play it much.

It's a toss-up for best game: either Contra on NES or Streets of Rage 2 on Genesis.

True, classic Nintendo is still cool, though all the classic games are available for it on the other newer systems.

One of my all time favorites for the NES was F-Zero. That game kicked ass! you guys remember the super scop??? I had some tight games for that thing. The super scoop was great for scarring the shit out of people on the road too. It looked like a rocket launcher. All you had to do was whip the thing out while you where standing still at a stoplight, and then watch the people’s faces in the car next to you. Add a turban for added affect. :D

PC wins hands down for gaming. Much more possiblity than with any other system. Mac is Bill Gates little puppet so I don't even want to here that garbage.

I'd have to agree with most the people here...the PC is the best system for gaming and really for one, critical reason.

There's only been on PC.

See, if I wanted to, I can throw in Duke Nukem 3D: Atomic Edition, and play right now on my computer. You can buy new computers, but the games always transfer over.

Now, couple that with how many systems you have to buy for console games. Except for the PS2's backwards compatibility and gameboy's, they haven't really encouraged that.

Now, PC games usually can look very good. You have LAN games and all sorts of multiplayer games. And you can just simply do more with a PC, like how Mods were mentioned, or even new maps/characters, etc.

But I'll always love Sega, regardless. Dreamcast was a damn nice system.

No way. There's about a million old games I have lying around that won't work on this computer.

You know that's true...to a point, there are really old games that won't work with some windows.

But honestly, most things from a 486x up will work. If games like X-Com, Warcraft, etc will still work...

But really, you can keep upgrading and improving a PC.

I like the xbox because I can just slap in a game and be playing. Plus Halo on Xbox kicks mean fucking ass!

Good job showing you ignorance new guy. It is a system. It may not be a console gaming system, but it is a personal computer gaming system. Might want to watch it in the future with blanket generalization.
