Apparently, "Lose Yourself" by Eminem is the fourth most influential song of the last 25 years.

I also heard that eminem will probably become the best selling artist of all time.

How pathetic. What's next? An "Artist Of The Millenium Award" for Nelly? You'd think they'd pick something like Quiet Riot (first metal band to have a #1 debut) or Def Leppard but no, they pick the next Vanilla Ice to be their little golden boy! What's the number one influential song? Ice Ice Baby? Can't Touch This? Man, what a joke!
Influential? the question is really what it influences at all! I'ts a song about a guy who should get lost trying to lose himself. It basically applies to underground rappers living in a trailer park. If that's the majority of americans, then we have worse things to worry about than VH1

The sad thing is that "Ice Ice Baby" is more influential, even if it's just because it's a lot older.
I have a certain respect for "Ice Ice Baby", only because it mentions a "Pimped-Out Tempo". Which is funny as hell to anyone whose seen my car at night.

"Ice Ice Baby" is like a classic of the 80's. You can't go wrong with the 80's.
